The Grand Café of Piet Hein Eek is located on the ground floor opposite the main entrance of the Piet Hein Eek complex and serves as an accessible, informal place for lunch, coffee, or a drink. The space is open and bright, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflects the broader character of the complex. Guests can sit both indoors and outdoors, making the restaurant a place to relax, meet people, or simply enjoy the surroundings. The Grand Café connects naturally to the rest of the complex, forming an extension of Hotel Piet Hein Eek and the other spaces where design, art, and craftsmanship come together.
The Grand Café is currently temporarily closed. We are reopening on April 27th 2026. In the meantime, you’re more than welcome to visit the Green Restaurant.
Opening hours from April 27th 2026:
Open Tuesday – Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00 for lunch.
Open Friday from 12:00 to 23:00 for lunch and the menu of the day.
On Monday you can visit the Green Restaurant for lunch and dinner. Breakfast, drinks, cakes and bites are also available here every day.
