Hotel Piet Hein Eek is located on the third floor of the Piet Hein Eek complex in Eindhoven, within a former Philips ceramics workshop on Strijp-R. The hotel features thirteen individually designed rooms, each embedded in the original structure of the building. No two rooms are alike; they differ in colour, materials, details, and furniture, with interiors designed by Piet Hein Eek in dialogue with works by various artists. Everything is made in-house by the workshop below, reflecting a strong sense of craftsmanship.
On the floor below, the reception, bar, and The Green Restaurant form one open space, connected to the Wonderroom where art, antiques, and design are on display. The restaurant takes its name from its green interior and its seasonal approach to food, working as much as possible with local farmers and producers. Dishes follow the rhythm of the seasons.
Across from the main entrance of the complex, the Grand Café offers an additional place to meet, eat, or have a drink, with the possibility to sit outside. On the fourth floor, Dakbar is the panoramic rooftop bar for drinks and late evenings.
Together, design, hospitality, food, and production come together under one roof, creating a cohesive experience that is open to everyone.
