The Green Restaurant is located in the lobby of Hotel Piet Hein Eek, forming a natural extension of the hotel and its surrounding spaces. Set within a former Philips ceramics workshop on Strijp-R in Eindhoven, the restaurant is embedded in the original architecture of the building and connected to the wider Piet Hein Eek complex.
The restaurant takes its name from the green interior that defines the space, as well as from its approach to food. The menu is rooted in seasonal cooking, with ingredients sourced as much as possible from local farmers and producers. Dishes are straightforward, generous, and shaped by what is available, rather than fixed recipes.
Together with the reception and bar, The Green Restaurant forms one open space that is connected to the Wonderroom, where art, antiques, and design are continuously on display. Guests move freely between dining, browsing, and gathering, making the restaurant both a place to eat and a place to linger.
